On Friday 5 March, the second Crucial Women in Construction (CWIC) High Tea was held with our allied associations NECA SA/NT and Air Conditioning And Mechanical Contractors' Association of SA Inc!
Celebrating International Women's Day and the #ChooseToChallenge theme this year, we started some great conversations about what our industry can do to challenge the status quo and change the gender imbalance.
The amazing Jessica Adamson was our ever-engaging and flawless MC for the afternoon, and attendees clung to every word from Civil Contractors Federation SA CEO Rebecca Pickering. Kelly Dawson-Fitzpatrick from Hydro-Jet Solutions Australia wowed the audience with her passion and drive, and our panel session was interactive, thought-provoking and informative.
Held at the National Wine Centre in the beautiful Hickinbotham Hall, the afternoon provided insights from speakers and panelists on their journey and experience in the construction industry.
Thank you to NECA SA/NT and AMCA for partnering with us and for your hard work to make this event a success!
We also wish to thank our sponsors for this event: Cbus Super, Lynch Meyer Lawyers, MEGT Australia, Clipsal Trade, Rexel Australia, O'Connors, D-Stal Electrical Pty Ltd, Automated Air and Hydro-Jet Solutions Australia!
Thank you to everyone who attended this event! We hope to see you at our next event!
